staff Anne Strozier Adams, M.Ac., L.Ac., Anne Adams began exploring and practicing meditation and energy healing over 30 years ago, when she was a student of the late Zen Master Dainin Katagiri Roshi. She was - and is - fascinated by the unimited powerful potential human beings have when they allow themselves to slow down, become present, and be still, and listen. She has taught classes on and has led Anchoring In Stillness Retreats in New Mexico, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, the Washington, D.C. School of Gestalt Therapy, and has just completed a Masters in Applied Healing Arts, focusing on communication through Oneness. Her acupuncture and energy practice is in Silver Spring, Maryland. Bob Adams is an artist, musician, and Zen/Taoist practioner who lives in Alexandria, Virginia with Anne Adams and their dogs Daisy and Sage. Peter Yencken a Scottish/Australian, came to the USA to travel. During this traveling, he worked for Tom Brown's Wilderness Awareness and Survival School. He has been part of children's survival and nature awareness camps in the Poconos and at Gavilan Ranch, New Mexico. He is a great believer in organically grown, simple, tasty and nutritious food. Yes, he's in charge of the food and cooking. Marianne Story Yencken is a T'ai Chi Ch'uan-practicing Episcopalian of
Welsh descent. She is a spiritual director in individual and group
spiritual companioning and a certified occupational health consultant.
Marianne has graduate degrees from Seattle University, with a specialization
in transforming spirituality, and the University of Virginia in chemistry.
Singing, the wilderness, contemplative practices and moving mediation
are her passions, not to mention motherhood. |
